Final Draft Due dates:
Odd Periods: Thursday, September 13
Even Periods: Friday, September 14
Final Draft Directions:
You are creating an infographic about yourself, using the equations you created! If you do not know what an infographic is, google it and explore!
Below are a couple of infographic examples. You can see some I created as well as some general infographics.
Final draft should be creative, have color, include a graphic for each topic that relates to your 10 facts and be something you are proud to share and something that is interesting!...Please no 10 fingers and 10 toes...do you travel? How many states, how many countries have you visited? How long is the flight to Korea to visit relatives? How many cousins do you have? How many books have you read? How many best friends do you have? When were you born? How long have you played the Piano? etc...
ON THE FINAL DRAFT, each of the 10 number facts about you must be represented ONLY by the equation, the topic it relates to, and a graphic. DO NOT INCLUDE THE ANSWER OR YOUR WORK. If you do, you will receive a 50% and be asked to resubmit it. Following directions is important. See my examples below if you need clarification.
The reason you are not to include these is because your peers will get a chance to SOLVE them to learn more about you.
An example of what this should look like:
I have x dogs
5x-3 = 7
Insert cute picture of your dogs. :)
The Answer Key and your work is already complete on your rough draft. It should be complete and correct! You will need to turn this in with your final draft.
Final drafts can be drawn by hand, using clip art or trying one of the apps or programs available online for creating infographics. If you choose not to complete it on the computer, it should be hand-drawn and colored on white or colored paper. A poster on lined paper done in pencil will not be accepted as a final draft. You will receive a 50% and be asked to resubmit it. Posters should be 8.5 x 11"
If you decide to make your infographic online, I posted a list of possibilities below. Be sure to check before you choose an app or platform how you can download or share your final product. MANY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO DOWNLOAD OR PUBLISH TO PDF OR PRIVATELY IF YOU CHOOSE A FREE ACCOUNT. See notes below my infographics at the bottom of this page for more info. DO NOT publish PUBLICLY. It is dangerous to publish publicly using your full name as you do not want to put that much information out there about yourselves. Be sage and safe online and careful about what information you choose to share!

This infographic was made on piktochart.com (free account). Very easy user interface, drag and drop capabilities. Limited free templates. You can publish as a jpeg or png for printing.

This infographic was made on venngage.com (free account). Many free templates to work with, easy to move text and images around. You CANNOT download as a PDF or png for free or publish it privately. I used screen capture (or snip tool) to save a jpeg of what I created so I would not have to publish it publicly online.
